DXL Script

Is there anyway to export OLE from particular baseline and import it to another baseline??
I am looking to export the OLE to MS Word in an old baseline, delete all OLEs in current baseline and replace with exported OLES...

You cannot change Baselines. (..err.. without manually tweaking certain database files.)

I don't know what to think about OLE diagrams that are hyperlinks to diagrams on the network.

There is a DXL function:

string richTextWithOle(Attr__ attr)

which allows to get an attribute including the OLE binary rather than a link. Maybe it would be possible to open the source baseline, go through all the objects, finds those with Ole with

int oleCount(attrRef)

then extract those OLE by some regexp search into the RTF code that richTextWithOle returns, then you would get the object of the latest module version with the same absolute number, search it OLE with some regexp search of its RTF code, and replace them with that OLE of the old module.

Please note that you cannot modify the objects of a baseline, but modifying the latest with a previous baseline is possible.
